Who is this guy?

Hi! I’m Julien.

Born in North of France.

Lived 25 years in Europe (France, Spain)

Lived 15 years in Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tokyo, Mumbai, Bangkok, Seoul, Singapore)

Moved to Paraguay in 2024 after checking the place first. I’ve never lived in Latin or South America before.

Searching for a “good” place to move to for years. A place that ticks the boxes. Researched more than 50 countries/locations across Asia, Europe, Caucasus, Russia, Africa, Latin America, South America, and the Pacific Ocean.

I have specialized in change management for the past 25 years.

Paraguay: interesting facts

  • A relatively small population (6 million People) due to historical events (Triple Alliance war: 1864-1870).

  • Paraguayans speak Spanish and Guaraní.

  • 50+% of People live in the Greater Asuncion area.

  • 2.6% of People own 85+% of the land*.

  • Relatively flat land (slightly hilly).

How much of my wealth can i keep?

  • The relative affordability of things (land, house, water, food, utilities)

  • Low taxes (revenues, consumption, others)

  • Water: Guarani aquifer.

  • Food: water + 60% humidity + sun + space.

  • Healing: plants + mushrooms + Guarani know-how.

  • Electricity: water + hydro dams.

How are the People?

  • Friendly population.

  • Family values & no woke culture.

  • Spanish speaking (easier integration if you speak Spanish or a Latin language).

Does the country support my well-being?

  • Simpler life & less constraints -> brain at peace.

  • Nature (trees, flowers) -> stress-free environment.

  • Clean air (outside Asuncion and the fire period).

  • Fewer toxins entering your body (almost no chemtrails, less mandates)

Cons of moving to Paraguay

People

  • Low education level (if any).

  • Relatively obedient population (historical context).

Other foreigners in Paraguay

  • Relatively individualistic mindset.

  • Quite some folks with psychological trauma.

Financials

  • Scams

  • Inflation is coming (speculation).

  • Banking is uneasy.

Nature

  • Relatively dull landscapes.

  • Nature is mostly private.

  • No sea (BUT...).

Well-being

  • Hot summers (40/45 degrees).

  • Parasites and insects.

Toxins

  • Fertilizers.

  • Fires (man-made).

Regulation

  • A system built for extortion.

Great Reset agenda

  • A large part of the population is in the Greater Asuncion area (a 15-minute city?).

  • Small population -> easy to take over, get rid of or experience on.

An advantage but also a disadvantage:

  • Small population.

  • Lack of regulation.

  • Corruption.

Advises based on observations

  • Travel light -> stay flexible.

  • Do a first trip to check and explore Paraguay and apply for your residency.

  • Rent first. Don’t buy right away unless you have too much cash.

  • Plan your cash (income, expenses, and constraints).

  • Think about what you will do in Paraguay unless it’s very clear to you.

  • Don’t buy right away. It takes time to understand how things work here. There are traps/scams.

  • Nature is mostly private. If you want your little paradise, you will have to buy it.

  • Take it easy.

  • Integrate with local folks.

  • Make friends slowly (many folks have an agenda).

  • Many folks use Paraguay as a plan B.
